Public Meeting - Design Workshop

April 5, 2018 from 4-7 p.m.

First United Methodist Church Gym

506 E. 28th Street, Bryan, TX 77803

The City of Bryan, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation and the Bryan/College Station Metropolitan Planning Organization, is planning safety and mobility improvements for William J. Bryan Parkway (FM 158) from Texas Avenue to Earl Rudder Freeway. As the area continues to grow and traffic increases, this is a unique opportunity to revitalize the corridor.

Project Considerations and Improvements:

  • Safety and mobility for all users – drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists
  •
  • Access and connections that consider the blend of residential, commercial, park, and historic properties
  •
  • Crash history and patterns
  •
  • Traffic congestion
  •
  • Drainage and stormwater infrastructure
  •
  • Environment
  •
  • Location and placement of utilities

All Balanced with Community Input

For this project to be successful, we will work alongside the public to develop plans that improve safety and travel, as well as reflect community values and enhance the character of the area. We encourage all community members to get involved and share input throughout this project. Together, we will make WJB a safe place to live and enjoy for years to come.
